Born and raised in White Rock BC, I made Salmon Arm my home 10 years ago. I have been working in the labour force for the past 20 years encompassing the railway industry, aerospace industry, and now the plywood industry. While working full time and raising two young kids, I have also been taking courses through Okanagan College and Thompson Rivers University and am now in my fourth year as a philosophy major.

It is important for me to make a stance because the labour force is consistently underrepresented. I am in it to serve all British Columbians with a focus on the interests through the eyes of a worker. There is a lot of talent in the workforce wishing for release, but food on the table is a higher priority than funding personal upgrades. The pillars of our platform make it easier for people to choose their own career so they can earn what they are truly worth, enjoy their work, and control their own destiny.

I am impressed that people this time around are interested in the full spectrum of issues – many voice strong concerns over certain specifics but understand the importance of a fully integrated platform.
