A water system upgrade is on stream in Enderby.

The city will receive $547,302 from the federal and provincial governments for a Shuswap River water main crossing.

“While they often go unnoticed, the investments we’re making in things like the river water main crossing in Shuswap are crucial to the community,” said Greg Kyllo, Shuswap MLA.

“With the province’s investment here, Enderby residents will benefit from an enhanced water sanitation system.”

The Clean Water and Wastewater Fund enables investments in infrastructure, specifically supporting long-term benefits in rehabilitating drinking water, wastewater and stormwater systems.
