An upcoming public meeting will be an opportunity for Sicamous residents to be updated on what’s happening in School District #83 and what will be happening with local schools.
School trustee Mike McKay will chair the community consultation meeting planed for Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to noon at Parkview Elementary.
A notice sent out to parents states discussions at the meeting will include, but not be limited to a budget update, learning priorities, student successes and areas for attention, long-term strategic planning, enrolment trends, a facilities update, the status of current school closure motions transportation issues and recent developments.
