With the first snowfall comes a reminder for drivers to keep road conditions in mind.
Friday morning’s snow is creating some hazards on the Trans-Canada Highway, as well as local roads. With the temperature hovering around the freezing mark, slushy snow is building up on roadways. There is also a notification form Environment Canada regarding possible freezing rain later today, which can create serious challenges for driving.
Drive BC is reporting slushy sections on multiple sections of the highway between Salmon Arm and Chase.
