A rough start to the 2016/17 hockey season has led to a big change within the Jr. B Sicamous Eagles hockey organization.

The Sicamous Eagles Hockey Club announced Tuesday morning, Oct. 4, that head coach Ty Davidson had been replaced by Matt Stang of Salmon Arm.

The shake-up comes on the heels of a zero-win, eight loss streak, that includes last week's back-to-back shutouts versus the Summerland Steam (7-0) and the Osoyoos Coyotes (8-0).

There'll be more information in this week's Eagle Valley News.
