Big Bike pedals through Vernon

The Morning Star team joined Tourism Vernon and the City of Vernon on the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike today

Between rain showers, The Morning Star team grabbed their runners and hopped on the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike.

Joined by Tourism Vernon and the City of Vernon, the team of cyclists joined veteran driver Frank Flake as the pedalled the bike around downtown Vernon.

Wendy Wright, community development coordinator with the Heart and Stroke Foundation Okanagan – Kootenay, said the bike has already raised nearly $100,000 at the three Okanagan stops – Penticton, Kelowna and Vernon.
