Conversation Café, in collaboration with the Peace & Reconciliation Network, will be hosting, "How do we live with our Neighbour? Understanding Paths to Peace in Israel and Palestine" on Nov.30.

The event will take place at the Metro Hub, 1265 Ellis Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The conversation will include a keynote presentation by Palestinian Christian scholar and facilitator Salim Munayer and a moderated Q&A.

According to the Conversation Café, the forum will begin with an interactive workshop sharing and acknowledging the different narratives, as understood by both Palestinian and Jewish communities.

“At the heart of this event is a fresh approach—an opportunity for attendees to explore and participate in the process of peace-building that begins with an understanding of those with whom they may have different perspectives and beliefs about the issues in the Middle East,’ the group stated in a release.

Munayer is known for bringing together diverse ethnic groups within the Middle East through innovative programs like desert encounters and structured workshops.

The  Conservation Café explained that these, “sessions provide transformative settings that promote mutual understanding and cooperation among Muslims, Christians, and Jews.”

June Forman founded the Conversation Café and is dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogues on significant societal issues.
