Coming up for Halloween is the  32nd Annual Downtown Treat Trail, which takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. in downtown Salmon Arm on Thursday, Oct. 31. This event is offered as a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating for young families, with many businesses in handing out candy or other treats outside their stores to kids dressed in their Halloween best.
