After serving in the Second World War, Wilfred and Lloyd Reynolds settled in Salmon Arm.

On Remembrance Day, Brad Reynolds will be thinking of his father Wilfred and uncles Lloyd and Albert who served in and survived the Second World War.

Brad said the Saskatchewan-born brothers served in France, Germany, Italy and Belgium.

"They all spent the war overseas and all made it back home," said Brad. Albert settled in Hamilton, Ont., while Wilfred and Lloyd came to Salmon Arm.

"There was place better or beautiful for them, and both and many friends and relatives between here and Saskatchewan," said Brad. "Truly great men, remembered fondly with love and humour."

Brad said Wilfred and Lloyd passed away in 1985.
