Sicamous elementary students take part in Terry Fox Run

Parkview classes circled the school field on Sept. 22

Sicamous students ran, walked and jogged to honour Marathon of Hope runner Terry Fox.

On Friday, Sept. 22, Parkview Elementary students took part in School District 83’s Terry Fox Run day, which had teachers and students across the region on their feet to mark the time of year when Canadian Terry Fox ended his run to raise money for cancer research and share hope for recovery.

Teachers handed out frozen treats at the end of the run, just in time for recess.
