Carlin Elementary Middle School will be bustling with fun and games this weekend during the Carlin Country Market.
Saturday, May 24, marks the 12th year for the popular community event and fundraiser for the school, supporting field trips, food programs, sports equipment, classroom technology, supplies and more.
The family friendly market offers an artisan vendor market, bouncy castles and games, carnival snacks and a visit by local fire firefighters. Car enthusiasts will love the vintage car show, and for those feeling lucky, there’s a 50/50 draw, a silent auction, a locally supplied meat draw and a themed basket raffle packed with great prizes.
The school's parent advisory council is in need of volunteers to help with the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone interested in doing so can call Ange Inskip at 250-833-2094, or sign the online volunteer sheet at https://volunteersignup.org/LAWX9. People are welcomed to volunteer anywhere from one to five hours.
