Family friendly films coming up for spring break

Shuswap Children’s Association hosts Children’s Film Festival and Fundraiser.

Anyone looking for a little family friendly escapism during spring break will have a number of options to choose from at the Children’s Film Festival and Fundraiser.

Hosted by the Shuswap Children’s Association, in partnership with the Salmar Community Association, the festival includes eight cinematic offerings over four days, March 25 to 28, at the Salmar Classic Theatre.

Movies and dates are as follow:

• Sunday, March 25

Wonder at 6 p.m.

• Monday, March 26

Stuart Little at 10 a.m. and The Secret Garden at 1 p.m.

• Tuesday, March 27

Despicable Me 3 at 10 a.m., Fly Away Home at 1 p.m. and Wonderstruck at 6 p.m.

• Wednesday, March 28

Paddington 2 at 10 a.m. and Hugo at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $5 and include a juice box and a small popcorn. Children under 10 should be accompanied by a responsible adult or caregiver.
