PUFF Entertainment is bringing the beats to Salmon Arm.
The Chase-based, family owned PUFF (Peace, Unity, Family, Friends) Entertainment hosts their Kick Start Your Heart concert on March 24 at the Fifth Avenue Seniors Activity Centre. The 19-plus show runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., and will include DJs, a 50-50 draw, food and door prizes.
While PUFF has been operating in the area for a few years now, the March 24 gig will be the first of what PUFF co-founders Naomi and Nathan Reynolds and Scott Mewhiney hope will be many shows to come.
“We’re really trying to branch out and we think Salmon Arm is a really beautiful town and we just love it there and we think it’s a great place to open up some music for people,” said Naomi.
The PUFF concept was born while Naomi and Nathan were working a festival near Kamloops.
“We were just cooking there, just being there and doing our thing, and then we thought, why don’t we do this ourselves, it’s so much fun and the people are so great and so welcoming, and we love music, so let’s start our own company,” said Naomi.
