Will Sicamous remain the houseboat capital?

When a stakeholder of one of Sicamous’ signature businesses runs for district council only to leave the won seat and join the provincial political circus in Victoria is Sicamous still the houseboat capital of Canada?

When a stakeholder of one of Sicamous’ signature businesses runs for district council only to leave the won seat and join the provincial political circus in Victoria is Sicamous still the houseboat capital of Canada?

If the current local MLA did so to attempt to get our town help fixing the problems of lack of affordable worker housing, constantly decreasing permanent population and diminishing number of needed businesses that results; then ‘yes’ could still be seen as the answer to that question. If our local MLA did so for any other reason instead, it could be seen as the starting step towards them moving their business elsewhere as a result of those mentioned problems, making no appear to be that question’s only logical response.
