The Sicamous Eagles suffered their third straight loss after dropping Tuesday night's game 7-2 to the Princeton Posse.

The Sicamous Eagles' slide continued with a 7-2 loss to the league-leading Princeton Posse Tuesday night in the KIJHL.

The game was a runaway from the start when the Posse got on the board midway through the first, followed just over two minutes later with their second for a 2-0 lead going into intermission.

Princeton then continued to dominate the second frame, adding another four – including one from forward Matthew Langdon for his 29th of the season – while the Eagles just added to their penalty count.

The Posse opened scoring again in the third before Sicamous finally got on the board after Ashton Angle hit the net, with Tysen Andersen picking up the assist. The team's final rally came just five minutes later when Josh Missfeldt added the Eagles' second at the 16:22 mark on a pass from Gavin Bretherick but couldn't close the gap with just four minutes left in the game.

Sicamous goalies shared the loss in net, with Kael Svenson blocking 26 shots while six found the gaps in his defence. He was changed out in the final minute of the second with Gabe Bergeron, who stopped 18 tries on goal.

The Eagles return to the nest this Saturday, Jan. 25, when they host the Golden Rockets with the puck drop at 7 p.m.
