BC Wildfire Service personnel are responding to a blaze north of Adams Lake.
The .2-hectare Burton Creek fire was discovered Thursday evening, June 29.
As of Friday afternoon, June 30, a BC Wildfire Service crew of four was fighting the fire, located on steep and difficult terrain, with support from a helicopter bucketing water. The fire was classified as out of control, with lightning being the suspected cause.
