The Green Party is preparing for the 2015 federal election.
Chris George and David Smith have been unveiled as nominees to be the party’s candidate in Okanagan-Shuswap.
Married and raising a young family in Notch Hill, George has operated independent businesses from Salmon Arm to Kamloops. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Thompson Rivers University.
A retired accountant and consultant living in Vernon, Smith has worked 35 years in the forest industry in Lumby, Armstrong and Salmon Arm.
Candidate nominations are still being accepted.
