Get out your gloves and grubbies and help tidy the place up. The District of Sicamous is hosting a cleanup weekend on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10.
The first 100 people to sign up will receive a free T-shirt. Volunteers will be asked to help pick up trash from ditches and alongside roads and boulevards and do some needed weed-whacking during the mornings only.
“And we’ll feed you,” adds district administrator Evan Parliament, who noted even an hour of help would be greatly appreciated.
