In 1993 I became a councillor because Sicamous needed a sewer system. We then accomplished Phase 1, and now, with the completion of the Westside system, 90 per cent of Sicamous is connected.
I really want to see the completion of the water treatment plant on time and on budget.
I want a revitalization of Sicamous’ economy. That is a most important goal. We not only need tourists, but we also need to attract new businesses, big and small.
We are on the TCH and the CPR mainline, that is an attractant we must use.
