District of Sicamous: Mallmes, Jeff – council candidate

Council candidate: Jeff Mallmes responds - What motivated you to run for municipal office?

  • Nov. 5, 2014 8:00 a.m.

Our team believes we need to initiate feedback from the community on their ideas on how we can proceed to energize our economy.

If the funds from the moorage, headwater lease are sufficient, the District of Sicamous could start to build the channel walkway with local personnel.

Sicamous needs commitment to use local contractors for all projects.

Sicamous should develop a campground.

Sicamous could generate its own power. We could encourage more specialized crops, such as grapes, wine or garlic. These crops demand a high price and will help create jobs.
