RCMP arrest Salmon Arm man for dealing cocaine, heroin

The arrest took place in a downtown parking lot and officers discovered large amounts of cocaine, heroin and cash on the suspect.

Salmon Arm RCMP arrested a man Friday for allegedly dealing cocaine and heroin in downtown Salmon Arm.

The arrest took place in a downtown parking lot and members of the Salmon Arm Drug Section discovered large amounts of cocaine, heroin and cash on the suspect at the time. Police estimate the street value of the drugs to be $2,000.

Following the arrest, the police conducted a search of the suspect's residence and discovered a small amount of cocaine and marijuana in the apartment.

RCMP are withholding the name of the suspect until formal criminal charges are approved.
