Sicamous RCMP are seeking a stolen Polaris Ranger Crew

Sicamous police are investigating vehicle thefts that occurred in December.

Sgt. Murray McNeil said a break and enter and theft occurred sometime in December at a property on Mara Heights Road.

He said the property’s caretaker discovered that a Jeep and an all-terrain vehicle were stolen from a garage. The Jeep has since been located. The ATV, however, has not yet been recovered.

The stolen ATV is described as a red and black 2008 Polaris Ranger Crew four-seater.

“The ATV is large and would have required a trailer to remove it from the property,” said McNeil.

On New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, two vehicles were stolen from a property on Oxbow Frontage Road in Malakwa. McNeil said one of the vehicles, a Ford F150, was recovered by police on Jan. 1. The second vehicle, a blue 2000 Lincoln Navigator has not been located.

Anyone with any information that might assist with these investigations may contact the RCMP at 250-836-2878.
