Sicamous Fungi Fest takes root once more

Festival offers education, exploration, music and more.

Tyson Elhers gives a presentation on mushrooms in the Kootenays at the Fungi Festival in Sicamous on Sunday, Sept. 25. This year marked the return of the festival after a year’s hiatus. Organizer Deb Heap said the event went really well, and she expressed thanks to all the businesses and individuals who contributed to and supported the event.
