Interest in learning the rules of the highway roundabout has prompted an upcoming information session, while opportunities for additional instruction are in the works.

The Sicamous Seniors Activity Centre has scheduled an introduction to traffic circles for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The presenting panel is expected to include representation from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, ICBC, the District of Sicamous, Sicamous RCMP and driving instructor Paul Keam.

For more information about this presentation, contact Diana Stooshnov at 250-836-2446.

Meanwhile, Keam, an ICBC-certified driving instructor, is in the process of arranging up to three training seminars on how to drive a roundabout. One would be strictly for seniors, and all would be free of charge. The News will provide more information about these when it becomes available.
