Snowfall warning for Highway 1 east of Sicamous

Environment Canada issues snowfall warning for Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass for Monday, Dec. 19.

Drivers headed east from Sicamous on Highway 1 should be prepared for snow.

Environment Canada is forecasting a long period of snowfall for Monday, Dec. 19, with up to 30 centimetres (12 inches) anticipated for the Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass corridor.

"Additional snowfall up to 15 cm through this afternoon can be expected," says Environment Canada, adding the snowfall will gradually taper off later in the day.
