A gazebo at the Sicamous Seniors Centre didn’t escape the wrath of a storm that swept through the Shuswap Wednesday, bringing strong winds, rain and intense thunder and lightning. A tree on the seniors centre site cracked and fell, causing about $2,200 damage to the gazebo. No one was injured.
