Eagle River Secondary students are heading home early today on account of a heating system failure.
The school says parents have been notified and students requiring bus service have already been picked up.
The closure was a directive of School District #83, and it is anticipated Eagle River will reopen for classes tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 12). However, parents are encouraged to check the school district website or the Eagle River Secondary Facebook page for updated information.
