Colleen passed away with her husband, the love of her life of 46 years, by her side.
Missing her generous spirit are her husband David, children Dawna (Dachs) and Kristopher (Monica); her brothers Bill, Dave, George and Jim Jones; her grandchildren Jessica, Daemon, Tarryn and Brisa; her great-grandchildren and her wonderful friends.
Colleen was a fiercely loyal and loving person; as a friend, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother...and as a wife.
Colleen had a joy for literature and the arts. She spent hours reading, attending performances, supporting local artists, and sharing the beauty and inspiration of them with her family and friends.
During her career as a teacher and librarian, Colleen developed many lasting and beautiful connections. She was proud to be an educator and took very seriously her role inspiring young minds.
Colleen cherished her solitude by the river and spent many hours watching the water roll by with David and her faithful dogs (Elk hounds) by her side.
