It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the loss of Dean Roth, as he passed away peacefully from cancer with family and a special angel by his side.

Dean was a free spirit, his love, passion and gift for music, known as greatest drummer where if he could not teach one to play he would have you twirl the drumsticks.  He loved the mountains and waters of the BC Shuswap and Mable Lake where he had a mobile marine business during the summer months and in the winter months was a machinist in the oil patch in northern BC.

Growing up in Ogden, then moved to live in BC where he was cherished and well respected by many friends who refer to him as the “Man of the Lake’ and will be sadly missed by all.

Dean is survived by his mother Mildred Vincent (Bill Smith), sister Denice Hansen, his nieces Skylar Hansen, Bobbi Jo Blume, Dixie Blume, Taren Trew.  As well his nephews Alex Hansen, Curan O’How. Dean is predeceased by older sisters Deborah Hadwin and Darlene Bolin. The family would like to send a special thanks to our Angel Laurie who was by his side, as well Frankie, Gord and Dave for the love and daily care required for Dean.

As a wish of Dean’s, the family will be having a farewell gathering of friends, on April 28th, 2012.  Please RSVP to Frankie_65_1@hotmail.com for information. God Bless my son, brother and uncle.

We’re Greatest Together, Always Together, Rest In Peace.
