Dorothy Elizabeth Strachan passed away peacefully, after a short illness, at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC with her daughter, Gail at her side on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the age of 85 years.
Dorothy was born at Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 17, 1923 and had been a resident of Sicamous for the past eight years.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Keith in 2001. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Gail Strachan of Sicamous; two sons, Garth of Vancouver and Gordon (Shelly) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Jaymi, Matt, Gordie, and Craig. Also surviving are her brother, Sam (Ruth) Stelfox and sister, Chris Cade.
There will be no formal funeral service.
