June 30, 1932 - August 9, 2020
Elsie Anne James (nee Campbell) passed away peacefully August 9, 2020 at her home in Sicamous, B.C. surrounded by family and friends.
Elsie was born June 30, 1932 in Lamont, A.B. She met and married Tom James in 1948 in Edmonton, A.B. and were married for 65 years.
After raising her family she and Tom moved to Sicamous in 1992 and enjoyed many years of nature and beauty of the Shuswap. She also enjoyed times with many friends at the local senior's center, playing cards and sharing meals.
Elsie is survived by her children; Judith (Don) Harrison, Elizabeth (Ron) Andrew, Charles, Doug, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grand children. She also is survived by her sister Marie Conner and Lorna Smith.
Elsie is predeceased by her parents, husband; Tom, son; George, brothers; Bill and Dale, sisters; Edith and Edna.
The family would like to thank family and friends; Shannon, Patricia, Robyn, Christine, Diny, the Palliative team at Interior Health, the staff at Shuswap General Hospital, and Dr. Beech.
A special thanks to John and Carol, Sheryl, Naomi, for all their help, also the many kind neighbors.
