Ernest Norman was born on December 14th, 1921 in Donalda, Alberta and passed away on November 4th, 2010 at his residence in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 88 years. Ernie had been a resident of Malakwa, B.C. from 1963-2007.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Olive, to whom he was married for 66 years; his children, Marie (Ralph) Donatelli of Mission, B.C., Lorreen Chambers of Vernon, B.C., Wayne (Carla) Norman of Tsawwassen, B.C. and Leona “Loie” (Pat) Robertson of Fernie, B.C.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Ernie was preceded in death by three brothers, Vince, Joe and Sig.
Cremation preceded a private family gathering which was held in Vernon, B.C. to celebrate and give thanks for Ernie’s life and love.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Ernie to the charity of their choice.
