Ernie passed away at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, B.C. with his family at his bedside. He meant so much to all of us and has left us with so many many wonderful memories. He was a great man and loved by all who knew him.
He was pre-deceased by his daughter Joanne Borglund and his Mom and Dad. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 58 years, MaryAnn, his two sons Bruce (Colleen), Rick (Wanda), grandsons Matthew and Justin, and granddaughters Danica, Corrina, Amber, Paige, and Kali, as well as six step-grandchildren and many beautiful great grandchildren. He was such a loving Papa to all of them and a great role model. He also leaves three sisters. Irma McCluskey of Lumby, Selma Sandberg of Jaffrey and Donna Chilliak (Dwight) of Stettler, AB. Ernie loved his music and was a great guitar player and played pedal steel and spanish guitar. He had so many wonderful musician friends that he spent time with enjoying the music.
There will be no formal funeral service as he requested. Anyone wishing to make a donation in his name can do so to either The Salvation Army, your local food bank or charity of your choice. Rest in Peace Hon.
