It is with loving memories and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia (Pat) Doreen Perret, who passed away peacefully at the Chinook Hospice with her granddaughter, Kirsten at her side. Pat was born in Minnedosa, MB on March 23, 1932.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty eight years, James Howard; her two daughters, Patti (Vic) Ulaszonek of Calgary and Cathy (Norm) Grusnick of Surrey, BC; her loving grandchildren, Kirsten, Kyle and Veronica and her beloved dog, Casper. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Fred in 1969 and Verna in 1979.

Pat enjoyed spending time at the house she and Howard built in the early 70’s on Mara Lake, and all the winters they spent going down to Mesa, AZ. Pat was a regular spectator at her grandson’s hockey games and very much enjoyed watching him play through the years.

A special thanks from the family to all the staff at the Chinook Hospice for taking such excellent care of our mom in her final weeks.

As per Pat’s wishes, no formal service will be held. A private service will take place in Sicamous, BC in the spring. If friends and family so desire, donations in Pat’s name may be made to the Calgary Humane Society, Tel: 403-205-4455, www.calgaryhumane.ca.

Arrangements entrusted to CALGARY CREMATION SERVICES (304 – 18th Avenue S.W., Calgary AB), Tel: 403-880-4084.
