Rafal Jankowski

Rafal passed away peacefully close to his family. He is survived by his sons Julian and Jacek.
Rafal was born in Lwow Poland and in 1945 he moved to Krakow with his parents Julia and Ludwik, sister Elzbieta, and brother Zbigniew.
Rafal married Janina in 1968. In 1977 he left Poland with family and in 1978 settled in Calgary as a base for his family's upcoming years of life adventures.
Rafal will be remembered for his stoic approach to life, never fading quest for new experiences, and "let it be" attitude toward the mystery of life.
His Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bowers Funeral Home in Salmon Arm, BC on October 9th 2022 at 2:00 pm.
