Ted Moore

November 6, 2016

February 15, 1927 - November 6, 2016. Ted arrived in Sicamous over 50 years ago with a young wife and four children under the age of 8. He was captivated by the beauty of the mountains and lakes. Home was first the Cedars Motel, the little log cabins in the heart of Sicamous, then a rented home near the school and within two years he would build his family home on the mountainside, overlooking Mara Lake and take root permanently. Deeply missed by his best friend and wife of over 60 years, Juanita, his brother Allen Moore, his son David and David’s wife Colleen Moore, with whom he and Juanita enjoyed many a Saturday, late afternoon, glass of wine; Wendy Trudeau, his beloved daughter always close by in Kamloops, Patricia Paterson and Jeffrey Moore his youngest children who kept near through his, and their, hearts and thoughts, visits and phone calls; grand-children Dawna, Kristopher, Travis, Michael, Quinn and Samantha, great-grandchildren Damaen, Jessica, Brisa, Tarryn; and great-greatgrandchildren Jaeden, Kamryn, Rowan and Carson (holiday dinners were always a very, very full house filled with love and laughter). We were all so fortunate to know his love, vitality, humour, endless curiosity and passion for life and living. Ted, Pop, Grandpa, your spirit remains with us forever.
