Tom passed away at home in Sicamous at the age of 66. He was born in Vernon, BC to Earle and Marian Tighe.
Moving to Sicamous as a young teen he lived in a variety of places in the Okanagan/Shuswap as well as northern BC.
Tom especially liked working on vehicles and boats from a young age and throughout his life.
In Prince Rupert he worked on the fishing boats as well as with the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
His hobbies included woodworking, cooking and gardening. He enjoyed children and his days were always brightened when young children were around.
He is survived by his sisters, step-sisters and nephews and nieces.
At a later date there will be a gathering for family and friends to share stories and memories of Tom.
