The silent auction on Sept. 28 and 29 was a huge success.
It was very well attended with almost everything being bid on, with many items going for more than the estimated value.
We had more than 100 items up for bids. The community of Salmon Arm really came through for me and we raised over $7,700.We are almost at the halfway point in our fundraising efforts.

I would like to officially thank all of the very generous donors from Salmon Arm and Sicamous for the incredible support that they have given me. It has truly been a heartwarming experience for me and my family to experience the level of support that we saw during our silent auction over the weekend at Piccadilly Mall.
Also I would like to thank the Salmon Arm Observer for their continued support of me and my situation regarding the waitlist problem with DBS surgery in British Columbia. I feel that this is an issue that everyone in our province should take notice of because you never know when you will find yourself in a situation where you need timely access to urgently needed medical care and are unable to get it.
