The Sicamous Lions Club would like to thank all those who have expressed interest in, and donated to the proposed all-inclusive park on Martin Street.
With your help, we raised over $6,000 last year and were all set to start applying for grants.
However, to apply for a grant you need approval in principle from the district. This has not been forthcoming and therefore the park project has been cancelled.
The monies currently in the account will be held until a new, worthwhile project is found.
Again, our since thanks to all of you who share our vision for a healthy fitness area for all ages.
