Three moms looking for a fun way to get out without having to go to the bar are looking for more adults wanting to get in on the party.

“We are mom friends who feel younger than we are so we often make our own fun,” said Jenny Taylor. “The piece we were missing is the ability to go out and dance without feeling old in a nightclub!”

With a love for themed gatherings, Taylor along with Miranda Montgomery and Miranda James have created JMM Events and have their first party coming up.

The Wear It Again dance party at Coldstream Community Hall Saturday, April 27 is a chance to wear those old, new or borrowed gowns and tuxedos while enjoying a live DJ, cash bar, appetizers, dancing, games and door prizes.

“Reach into your closet, pull out that old fabulous outfit that you would love to wear again, but haven’t had an occasion to,” said Taylor. “Wedding dresses, bridesmaid, prom, tuxedoes, anything and just come dance!”

The event was inspired by the expensive dresses hanging in their own closets.

“So here it is, the opportunity to wear that outfit that is collecting dust, but absolutely should be worn again!”

The inclusive event is open to everyone, “the more the merrier,” and tickets ($60) are available at eventbrite or by emailing jmmevents@gmail.com.
