A Mudslide closed the Trans-Canada Highway East of Canoe on April 17.

2. For sale sign comes off South Canoe School

The former elementary and alternate school has been taken off the market by the North Okanagan Shuswap School District after more than a year of trying to find a buyer.

3. Fundraisers to help child with cancer

Once again, the big heart of this community is helping a family as they work their way through a terrifying experience.

4. Police seize stolen property, smoke grenade

As a result of the investigation, the suspect was also found in possession of bank cards and credit cards that were not in his name, along with what police believe to be a smoke grenade.

5.Work underway to clear TCH mudslide

Crews had traffic disrupted by the April 17 Mudslide flowing again by mid-morning on April 18.
