A carrot toss, potato sack races, egg decorating and basket making are just a few of the fun events planned for Easter in Enderby.

The celebration hops into Barnes Park Sunday, March 31 from 12 to 3 p.m.

“The event is jam packed with activities brought to our community free of charge from the City of Enderby and all its local businesses,” said Vallerie Byrne, events coordinator.

An Easter egg hunt at noon kicks off the day, which includes food vendors, free food and Easter treats, farmers market, RCMP and fire truck tours, Evan the Juggler, Easter basket making, Easter egg decorating, a carrot toss, potato sack races, Easter egg races, face painting and an outdoor museum.

Everyone attending will also receive a ticket for the draw for an Easter gift basket.
