A portion of Hudson Avenue in downtown Salmon Arm became a pedestrian and bike lane Saturday, May 11 for the return of the Salty Dog Street Festival.

The family friendly carnival-like kickoff to Sunday’s Enduro race, all hosted by Skookum Cycle and Ski, saw the closed off section of the downtown fill will with vendors and community groups, pedestrians and riders, with various activities, information and more available throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
