Blair Laurila kayaks through the Red Barn Arts Centre’s parking lot last Wednesday evening when high water had supposedly reached its peak. The wooden floor of the arts centre is said to have been spared from flood damage. The dressing room in the rear took in two feet of water, but the floor is concrete and the damage is minimal, though further assessment will be done once the water has receded.
