A weekend of Sturling curling in Sicamous saw 16 teams rocking out on Feb. 10 and 11.

Curlers from Enderby and Salmon Arm joined local players on the sheets for the two-pool Sturling Bonspiel, with cash prizes up for grabs.

In Pool A, Ken Whitehead (Salmon Arm) and Dwayne Meyer (Sicamous) swept away the competition to take first, while Jody Arthur and Scott Gray came in second, and Susan Bondar and Mike Whitehead third, with the latter two teams from Sicamous.

Pool B saw Keith Rosin and Hubert VanBerkel (Enderby) slide into first, with Tom Baird and Ron Weiss (Enderby) securing second, and Kevin Hamill and Logan Henderson (Sicamous) in third.

The Sicamous Curling Club, a very busy little rink, is home to several leagues during the winter months, hosts numerous bonspiels and welcomes experienced players and anyone wanting to learn. For more information, contact the club at sicamouscurling@gmail.com.
