I believe it is the right thing to do.
In my current position as deputy mayor and chair of the finance committee, I feel that I have an obligation to this community to step up and bring forth the continuity necessary for the work we are currently involved in. eg. the water treatment facility, acquiring and developing the rail corridor to Enderby for recreational use, developments, business incentive plan, local job creation, plan to convince two doctors to work and live in Sicamous, an emergency response plan, infrastructure, highway improvements, resident engagement and much more.
