There's a pretty white, but slippery sheen on the streets and sidewalks of Salmon Arm this morning and Drive BC warns of several slippery sections of highway slippery.
The Trans-Canada Highway is reported to have has sections of black Ice from Sorrento to 11 kilometres west of Sicamous.
Black ice is also reported on eight km north of the junction with Highway 97A, in Enderby to the junction with Highway 1, in Salmon Arm.
Environment Canada's forecast for today is a risk of freezing rain this morning, followed by mainly cloudy skies. with a 60 percent chance of flurries changing to a 60 percent chance of rain showers this morning.
And just maybe, there will be a glimpse of the sun later this afternoon.
