A wildfire discovered Friday night continues to burn in the Shuswap.
The Vegetation Creek wildfire, which is northwest of Anglemont and was discovered on Friday, July 7, remains spot-sized, said Taylor Shantz, BC Wildfire Service responder.
The .009-hectare fire has a crew of five personnel responding as of this morning, Saturday, July 8, said Shantz. She added it looks like the fire is located on steep terrain that may be inaccessible.
The 16.3-hectare fire at Spapilum Creek near Adams Lake remains classified as being held.
