Esther Katherine Faubert (nee Pedersen)

October 6, 1920 - November 19, 2019
Esther Katherine Faubert (nee Pedersen) was born October 6, 1920 on her parents farm near Govenlock SK. Her goal was to live to celebrate her 100th birthday, but, sadly, her body did not last. She passed on Nov.19,2019 in Salmon Arm, BC. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1992, her son Bill in 1985, and her daughter Joyce in 2017. She is survived by her daughter Jeannette (Brian Lucas), her grand children Michael (Fatima), John, and Jeffery Varga and Adam (Amber) and Erin Faubert and two great-grandchildren.
She lived with a strong faith, a powerful work ethic, and she set a high standard in everything she did. She was always willing to help family, friends, and her community. She and John retired to Sicamous from Calgary in 1975. She loved the community, the lake, and the weather (No Wind!) She was happy to be a volunteer wherever she could, whether it was organizing a Bake Sale or a Boat Trip. She will be missed by many, and fondly remembered as well.
A memorial service will be held at the Sicamous Bible Church on Saturday November 30, 2019 at 11 am.
