Henry Matthew Teto died peacefully in Salmon Arm on the evening of May 21, 2008 at the age of 84. Henry lived his life in the small community of Cambie, East of Sicamous.

He is survived by his wife, Esther; brother, Ray; son Roy, daughter-in-law, Judy and grandchildren, Niina, Raphael and Aleksina. His family would like to extend their gracious heartfelt thanks to the staff of the former Pioneer Lodge and Hillside Village in Salmon Arm who made Henry feel at home and cared for after a stroke paralyzed him in 2004.

A memorial service for Henry will be held at Cambie Community Hall on Saturday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m. with Jack Bowers officiating, with an opportunity for family and friends to share tributes. An interment service was held at the family plot in Solsqua Cemetery earlier in the week. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Henry may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #201, 635 Victoria Street, Kamloops, BC, V2C 2B3.
